Opening an account

Account for companies

If your company is registered abroad and you wish to open an account with PlusGirot in Sweden, the following is required:

• Fill out an account application  form including specimen signatures of persons authorised to operate the account
• A certificate of corporate registration (in English or Swedish)
• Memorandum and Articles of Association
• Your company name and list of contacts
• Photocopies of passports of authorised persons
• Describe the nature of your operations in Sweden and why you wish to open an account
• Give an estimate of monthly volume of payments and the average amount of individual payment transactions
• Description of ownership
• A letter of recommendation from your house bank (in English or Swedish)

When we have received the required documentation and the customary assessment procedures have been completed, the account will become operational. We will then notify you of your account number, and send you the necessary payment forms and further information.
